hr2U is an Ashland Web site
that provides employees and their managers a common place to view and edit
their personal information, search for other employees in the company, and
offer easy access to other Human Resources applications. |
What is My
Information? |
It is the employee’s personal
information section of hr2U.
It provides employees worldwide the ability to view and edit their personal
data, address, family and bank information. Employees can select from one of
11 languages available to view their information. |
What are the
languages available for My Information? |
Chinese, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian,
Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. |
What should I do if
I do not understand any of the available languages? |
You can select the language you are most comfortable with
using. If you need further assistance, see your manager or local HR representative. |
Will I need training
to use My Information? |
No. My Information is designed to deliver
information to employees through a user-friendly Web site, so no in-class
training is necessary. A user guide for My Information is available
that provides step-by-step instructions to make it easy to navigate the site.
To locate the user guide, click "Help" located at the top of every
page. |
If an employee is
having difficulty logging on to hr2U, who should they
contact? |
Employees should use their network user ID and password to
log on to hr2U. If they do not have a network user ID or password,
please have them contact the IT Service Desk assigned for your country.
Employees can find IT Service Desk contact information by going to the hr2U
log on screen and clicking link "Need help logging on?" |
What should I do if I experience browser problems while using My
Information? |
Verify that your browser is Internet Explorer version 6.0 or greater.
At this time, the only browser product that can be used to access My
Information is Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater |
I do not have an
office computer. Can I get to My Information from my home computer? |
Yes. You have 24/7 access to My Information from
any computer with a connection to the Internet. However, the computer must
use Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater as its internet browser to access hr2U. |
What if I don't have
access to Internet Explorer on my home computer? |
Internet Explorer 6.0 comes standard on office or kiosk
computers at work locations. If it is not possible to use an office computer,
please contact your local HR representative to update your personal
information. |
What should I do if I
find errors in my personal information? |
Refer to the My Information User Guide for
instructions on updating your information. If you are unable to make the
corrections yourself, please contact your local HR representative. |
How do I change the
language of the portal? |
Go up to the top of the screen and click on the
"Personalize" link.
Click the "Modify" button. Change the value and click
"Save". |
Where is the org unit
view in Who’s Who? |
Due to some additional data validation that needs to be completed,
the org unit view has been temporarily removed. |
